Gilmore notes that the readers know more than the blogger does. I assume he means collectively and agree … sort of. I’m not as confident that any people out there – readers or writers – are a bastion of wisdom, but I do think that professional journalism is now so damaged by celebrity reporting and celebrity journalists we’d be better off demolishing the 4th estate in favor of massive, real time, ubiquitous citizen journalism.
