It did, for only the second time in 25 years, pour on us during our annual Rogue River trip the 3rd weekend in August – torrential buckets of huge drops began at midnight and continued unabated until nearly dawn, highlighting the folly of the 5 in our group of 13 who had opted not to bring a tent as “it never rains on the Rogue in August”….but it is the most wonderful of river floats.

I would also like to hear more about southern Oregon which is where I grew up. I have been gone for a long time and haven’t written about it on my website yet. I am waiting until we can take a trip back next spring. I now live in England.

love to hear more about oregon vacation. so far we always just stopped at places in oregon when on our way to CA. so get this travel blog up. it will be a great reference for our sequim town visitors on the olympic peninsula. greetings from the sequimers
