		<description><![CDATA[Advertising is a term that includes those annoying cards that drop out of any magazine you try to pick up, the pop-up ads touting Applebees or Registry Cleaners, etc. Understandably the term advertising can have some fairly horrible connotations but it is indeed a major part of content delivery.

Subscriptions and &#039;paywalls&#039; appear to be short sighted policies but may sites choose to employ them and I would think that those sites with poorer quality may atleast feel they have little choice since thier clickrate and demographics don&#039;t really command an impressive advertising rate card anyway.]]></description>
