Some casinos still under construction are already on the map, some casinos that are long gone are on the map and some existing casinos don’t even make the map because they are small and don’t have advertising budgets.

Many maps are inadequate for navigating shortcuts and fail to show shuttle stops, etc.

I found quite a few Las Vegas Casino maps that still show the Stardust, New Frontier, Westward Ho, Boardwalk and even The Desert Inn as casino properties. Some of these casinos were imploded more than a few years ago.

One advantage of the strip is that for much of its length it is legal to carry an open container of alcohol, since so many people wander from casino to casino.

Even the off-strip properties will have frequent shuttles to the strip usually.

That downtown ‘gem’ the Hell Cortez is even coming up in the world: they’ve emptied the ashtrays for what has got to be the first time in years and they’ve splashed some mop water around the joint. Even put in a few snazzy flat screen tvs.
