Just curious whether Terry Semel, CEO at Yahoo was at MIX06. Associated Press has Semel arm wrestling with Tom Cruise at Yahoo’s “Influential Speakers” event on Tuesday, 3/21/06. Cruise was a guest of honor. Why? Is he a computer expert? Are the meetings a gathering of experts or a push for good press?
Hi Dad! How’s the weather over there on Briarwood? MIX06 was pretty much all about Microsoft although there were some great talks by reps from other companies. It think Cruise is only influential as a celebrity – usually talking about scientology.
