Turns out I did need the robot to play against – it was putting more spin than the players were and I think this messed me up. Did make it through to second round robin but lost after that.
The tournament is down to four people who will compete in tomorrow’s final – a bar winner, walk in winner, rated player winner, and “all star” winner who is the current US hardbat champ.
